I have always walked thru life as an explorer. Nature, architecture and urban decay has always fascinated me. Over the decades I have trekked thru abandoned structures from the Atlantic to the Pacific and around the globe with camera in hand. Over the past 20 years the web has become a valuable tool in the research of these abandoned monolithic remains. I have become an urban historian, photographing and researching these sites, my personal work/mission has become to document what has been left behind before it is gone, urban sprawl is erasing our history, we are the witnesses.
One of my favorite quotes from Henry Miller -
"I have always looked upon decay as being just as wonderful and rich an expression of life as growth…" henry miller
